Arizona Art Alliance

Most of the members of Phoenix Artists Guild are juried members of Arizona Art Alliance.  The members produce and display their art in art show and sale events and exhibits, displaying juried fine art, including two and three-dimensional pieces.  They share their knowledge and experiences through exhibits, workshops and art classes.

Many of our members also participate in Art Alliance community outreach and other projects.  And the Alliance needs a lot of help with operating tasks, keeping their fantastic Fine Arts Gallery and seven(7) community outreach programs moving forward.  They can no longer do this with a handful of dedicated volunteers.  Get involved; it is a beautiful experience!  Join one of the task teams (click here) and enjoy a great experience.

Get juried into the Arizona Art Alliance, for great opportunities to show in their major shows, as well as theme shows all during the year.  Check the Jury Guidelines and (Jury Applications  for more information.

Be sure to check the Arizona Art Alliance Website, for  Other Artist Opportunities including reasonable priced workshops available to everyone and workshop space for instructors.

Dr. Carl Hoelle, PAG Rep. to Arizona Art Alliance says of:its Gallery at the Pavilions at Talking Stick;Scottsdale 9011 E. Indian Bend Rd., Suite E-1: "I would urge all non-juried artists to seek Alliance jurying. The availability of continuous Gallery shows for juried artists affords great opportunities to show your artwork and SELL!  The jurying process is very quick and completely non-biased by the jurying panel of 3 to 4 jurors who are independent Artists, Gallery Directors, Instructors, and art gallery owners.  Artwork submitted is judged on 5 criteria with score of 1-5 on each piece submitted. Minimal score for successful jurying of a piece is 3.75 with maximum score of 5.0.

Remember, one wishing to participate in the Gallery's beautiful and very popular Artists Gift Shop doesn't need to be juried by the Alliance.  Our own Carolyn Tolliver is the Gift Shop Manager. Speak with her or email her at

catolly@msn.com.

If you have any question regarding anything Alliance-related, email me carlart@cox.net. or call 602-274-1699.

Thanks you, Carmen Timm, for getting the workshops program grounded and moving forward!  A great program and the Alliance is very appreciative.  Artists who haven't yet taken part in teaching or taking these inexpensive workshops are missing a very valuable learning experience!
